Pilot dies as military aircraft crashes over northern Vietnam
At 12:07 p.m., Duy piloted the aircraft as a training session. At 12:27, while landing, the aircraft encountered an issue.
Duy was ordered to parachute out of the aircraft, but he tried to fixed it instead. The aircraft eventually crashed and Duy died. Duy, 31, from Yen Bai Province, was the Deputy Squadron Commander and Deputy Chief of Squadron 1. part of Air Force Division 921.
