Hanoi woman brought down from transmission tower
People in Bien Giang Ward, Ha Dong District, found the woman sitting on the tower which is 30 meters high at around 10 a.m.
The local firefighting police were informed and they sent an elevator truck with 10 officers to the spot. But they could not send the truck into the small alley, so they placed mattresses at the foot of the tower and tried to persuade the woman to climb down, which went on for more than one hour to no avail.
They eventually decided to send some officers up, tie her with one of them and climb down.
