Young striker Pham Tuan Hai was put in a good position to score in the first half, but he could not beat Dortmund’s famous keeper Roman Weidenfeller. The former goalie played for Dormund from 2022 to 2018 and won two Bundesliga titles.

Defender Ngoc Hai looked small next to Jan Koller, who’s 2.02 meters. At 49, the former Czech striker still played the full match and, despite not scoring, caused Vietnam’s defense many troubles.

Even though Vietnam All-Stars included active national team players, Dortmund Legends still dominated. They scored two goals early in the first half thanks to Miaden Petric and David Odonkor.
