Covid-19 daily tally continues to decline
Health authorities confirmed 3,717 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday in 53 cities and provinces, the lowest in the past 187 days.
In the last seven days, the daily average number of Covid-19 cases is 6,552, down 32 percent from the same period in the previous week.
Four deaths were recorded in the last seven days, down 58 percent.
On Sunday, one death was confirmed. The death toll is now 43,042, or 0.4 percent of the total infections.
In the latest wave that hit the country in late April last year, more than 10.5 million cases have been confirmed and 9.2 million of them have recovered.
80.4 percent of the population have received two vaccine doses.
