Malaysian child actress unable to walk after chair prank at filming location
On Feb 22, Puteri Rafasya, 12, was about to sit on a chair during rehearsals when another child pulled the chair away.
Puteri fell and landed on the metal legs of a tripod. She fractured her hip bone and is currently experiencing numbness in her lower limbs due to a malfunctioned nervous system. She is also unable to walk, The Strait Times reported.
In subsequent Instagram posts, it was shared that the young actress had been confined to a wheelchair and is unable to walk or sit as per normal.
Harian Metro on Tuesday reported Puteri’s mom, Fatin Aliza Salmi, 33, as saying that her daughter had to be warded at the pediatric ward at Tunku Azizah hospital until her condition improves.
"According to the medical report, Puteri is expected to be able to walk by now. But she cannot even stand, let alone walk," Channel News Asia quoted the mother as saying.
Puteri’s fans have sent the girl messages of encouragement and prayers.
