777 new COVID-19 cases confirmed on Wednesday

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam recorded 777 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, with no deaths.

The latest update brings Việt Nam’s total COVID-19 infections to 10,745,631 so far.

There are currently 49 COVID patients in serious condition in hospital.

The total number of COVID fatalities in the country remains at 43,087, accounting for 0.4 per cent of all transmissions.

A further 9,387 patients were given the all-clear, taking the total number of recoveries to 9,675,359.

About 231.5 million shots of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered across the country so far, of which over 7.8 million were for children aged 5 to 11 years old.

Starting today, the Ministry of Health will no longer announce a detailed location breakdown of new daily COVID cases, instead only reporting the total number of infections, deaths and recoveries nationwide.
