Việt Nam witnessed a slight increase in COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, with 856 new infections reported in the past 24 hours.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam witnessed a slight increase in COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, with 856 new infections reported in the past 24 hours.
The new transmissions were an increase of 240 compared to the number of new cases on Monday, bringing the total caseload to 10,733,285 since the start of the pandemic.
New infections were recorded in Hà Nội (151), Đà Nẵng (64), Phú Thọ (56), Yên Bái (46), Lai Châu (45), Nghệ An (37), Bắc Ninh (36), Lào Cai (28), Hải Dương (27), Tuyên Quang (27), Vĩnh Phúc (25), Hòa Bình (25), Quảng Bình (25), Quảng Ninh (24), Bắc Kạn (23), Nam Định (22), HCM City (19), Sơn La (16), Thái Bình (16), Thái Nguyên (15), Hà Nam (15), Hưng Yên (13), Hà Giang (12), Cao Bằng (11), Ninh Bình (11), Lâm Đồng (10), Quảng Trị (9), Lạng Sơn (8 ), Điện Biên (8 ), Hà Tĩnh (7), Thanh Hóa (6), Quảng Ngãi (4), Bắc Giang (4), Gia Lai (2), Khánh Hòa (2), Tây Ninh (2), Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu (2), Vĩnh Long (2) and Bình Dương (1).
The number of new daily cases in the country in the past seven days on average is 775.
No deaths related to COVID were reported, with the death toll remaining at 43,083, about 0.4 per cent of infections.
A total of 6,365 recoveries were reported, taking the total number given the all-clear since the start of the pandemic to 9,568,888.
43 patients are currently receiving oxygen support.
More than 223 million vaccine doses have been administered in the country to date
