Việt Nam records 806 new COVID cases
The Ministry of Health on Monday added 806 COVID-19 infections, including four cases from overseas, bringing the total caseload to 10,726,045.

HÀ NỘI — The Ministry of Health on Monday confirmed 806 new COVID-19 infections, including four from overseas, bringing the total caseload to 10,726,045.
The 45 localities that recorded COVID-19 transmissions on Monday were Hà Nội (204), Bắc Ninh (76), Yên Bái (64), Hải Dương (42), Vĩnh Phúc (41), Quảng Ninh (29), HCM City (28), Phú Thọ (25), Đắk Nông (24), Thái Nguyên (21), Bắc Kạn (19), Hòa Bình (16), Sơn La (16), Lào Cai (16), Tuyên Quang (16), Thái Bình (15), Hải Phòng (14), Quảng Bình (13), Hưng Yên (11), Hà Giang (10), Đà Nẵng (10), Hà Nam (9), Thanh Hóa (7), Lạng Sơn (7), Quảng Trị (7), Cao Bằng (7), Quảng Ngãi (6), Phú Yên (6), Lâm Đồng (5), Nam Định (5), Kiên Giang (4), Nghệ An (4), Lai Châu (4), Điện Biên (3), Bắc Giang (3), Gia Lai (3), Bình Phước (2), Tây Ninh (2), Đồng Tháp (2), Khánh Hòa (1), Đồng Nai (1), Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu (1), Bình Định (1), Bến Tre (1) and Bình Thuận (1).
One death was also reported in Vĩnh Long Province.
The total number of COVID-related fatalities in the country has now reached 43,081 cases, accounting for 0.4 per cent of the total number of infections.
9,026 patients were announced to have fully recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,513,981.
Fifty-one COVID patients are receiving oxygen support.
