VN reports 65,619 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday

 HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam reported 65,619 new COVID-19 transmissions on Saturday, with a total of 9,716,282 now recorded since the start of the pandemic.

Three of the new patients were imported and the rest were domestic. 42,193 infections were detected in the community.

Hà Nội continued to see a decreasing number of new daily COVID-19 infections on Saturday. However, the capital city still had the highest number of new cases in Việt Nam with 7,423.

The other localities that reported new infections were Đắk Lắk (3,999), Nghệ An (2,911), Yên Bái (2,883), Phú Thọ (2,770), Bắc Giang (2,439), Quảng Ninh (2,378), Lào Cai (2,283), Hà Giang (2,016), Thái Bình (1,911), Quảng Bình (1,857), Bắc Ninh (1,758), Vĩnh Phúc (1,706), Lạng Sơn (1,668), Tuyên Quang (1,497), Bắc Kạn (1,479), Sơn La (1,319), Hà Nam (1,158), Thái Nguyên (1,134), Cao Bằng (1,111), Hải Dương (1,088), Vĩnh Long (988), Cà Mau (978), Hưng Yên (956), Lâm Đồng (936), Lai Châu (877), Bình Định (834), Bình Dương (748), Quảng Trị (747), HCM City (746), Tây Ninh (737), Bình Phước (728), Hà Tĩnh (715), Điện Biên (661), Hòa Bình (661), Ninh Bình (648), Quảng Ngãi (618), Nam Định (571), Thừa Thiên Huế (563), Bến Tre (557), Đà Nẵng (525), Đắk Nông (481), Thanh Hóa (465), Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu (412), Phú Yên (358), Trà Vinh (342), Hải Phòng (302), Khánh Hòa (294), Bình Thuận (264), Quảng Nam (259), An Giang (150), Kiên Giang (146), Bạc Liêu (140), Kon Tum (121), Long An (115), Cần Thơ (80), Đồng Nai (40), Đồng Tháp (26), Hậu Giang (16), Ninh Thuận (13) and Tiền Giang (10).

106, 878 patients were declared recovered from the virus, with a total of 7,713,354 people now given the all-clear since the pandemic began.

37 fatalities related to COVID-19 were reported, in Hà Nội (4), Quảng Ninh (3), Trà Vinh (3), An Giang (2), Bạc Liêu (2), Bến Tre (2), Bình Định (2), Bình Dương (2), Hậu Giang (2), Kiên Giang (2), Sóc Trăng (2), Cà Mau (1), Cần Thơ (1), Điện Biên (1), Hà Giang (1), Hòa Bình (1), Lâm Đồng (1), Lạng Sơn (1), Nghệ An (1), Tây Ninh (1), HCM City (1) and Vĩnh Long (1).

Over 206.46 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered nationwide so far.

Việt Nam ranks 12th out of 227 countries worldwide for the number of COVID cases.
