Two people in the southern island of Phu Quoc were shot dead while three others were injured by dozens of people on Thursday for reasons yet to be confirmed.

Police of Phu Quoc said that at 11:30 a.m., construction workers were working at a building in Cua Duong Commune when dozens of people came with their cars, took out guns and shot them.

A nearby security camera captured seven cars entering the area. One group of people got off the car and attacked some locals with weapons. At least 12 gun shots soon followed, resulting in the death of two people and wounding three others. The wounded have been taken to the Phu Quoc medical center.
