HCMC among 15 most searched cities by global travelers
Vietnam’s southern metro climbed 2,985 spots from last year to 12th place in this year’s list, which is topped by the French capital Paris.
The list is based on an analysis of check-in dates between December 24 to January 2.
"Being one of the first countries in the world to have lifted restrictions on Covid-19 since March 15, 2022, Vietnam has since attracted a great number of tourists," according to Booking.com.
Other cities in the list include London, Dubai, Amsterdam, Rome, Tokyo, Barcelona, Prague and New York.
In the first 10 months of this year HCMC received 2.65 million foreign arrivals, or 76% of its full year's target.
