Ba Ria-Vung Tau allows four tourist facilities to welcome back domestic travelers

They are the Grand Ho Tram Strip tourism complex, Melia Ho Tram beach resort, Binh Chau Hot Spring Resort in Xuyen Moc District, and Six Senses Con Dao beach resort in Con Dao District, the government's news portal reported.

Before resuming operation, all facilities must ensure anti-pandemic measures and only offer closed services as part of the province's efforts to revive the tourism industry after more than three months of closure.

Provincial authorities also allowed restaurants and dining establishments in four districts where the pandemic has been put under control including Con Dao, famous for long beaches and wartime prison, to offer only takeaways from September 15.

Authorities in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, home to a long, sandy coastline, ordered a swimming ban and suspended tourism activities since June after its neighbor HCMC grappled with its most challenging outbreak.

During the ongoing wave, the province has recorded 3,885 cases.
