HCM City hotel launches Regional Cuisines of Việt Nam
The five-star Rex Hotel in HCM City launched the Regional Cuisines of Việt Nam programme on June 11.

HCM CITY — The five-star Rex Hotel in HCM City launched the Regional Cuisines of Việt Nam programme on June 11.
One specialty each from the country’s three regions are offered: bánh đa cua Hải Phòng (Hải Phòng noodle soup with crab), phở khô Gia Lai (Gia Lai- style dried rice noodle), and bánh canh Trảng Bàng Tây Ninh (Trảng Bàng rice noodle soup).
The programme is aimed at offering guests an authentic food experience and promoting Vietnamese dishes, Phan Thanh Long, the hotel’s general manager, said.
He said highly skilled chefs would make the dishes to offer a unique cuisine experience to guests, he said.
The programme is set to become a quarterly event at the storied hotel, which belongs to Saigontourist Group.
